Even the non craft beer lovers like this one. Light in both colour and flavour we have used a subtle amount of the Magnum hops in the boil which gives a light spicy flavour with a hint of citrus.

A very versatile fresh wort kit.

Traditionally you need to chill a lager during fermentation, don’t worry if you don’t have a chiller, our yeast recommendations will give you a great lager without having to ferment at lower temperatures .

  • We recommend brewing with:

    • Mangrove Jack's Craft Series M54 California Lager Yeast

    • Mangrove Jack's Finishing Hops - Hersbrucker 15g

    • Mangrove Jack's Beer Yeast Nutrient

    • Mangrove Jack's Dry Enzyme

    • Pour fresh wort from the bladder into a clean and sanitised fermenter.

    • Add 5 litres of water to bring volume to 20 litres.

    • Aerate, pitch Mangrove Jack's M54 California Lager yeast, Yeast Nutrient and Dry Enzyme

    • Add Hersbrucker finishing hops on day 7.

    • Once fermentation is complete, bottle condition or keg.
